Apricot Cream Cheese Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
3/4 cup dried apricots, chopped
5 oz cream cheese
4 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
3 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Whipped cream or ice cream, for serving
Method:
Place the dried apricots in a bowl and pour over the milk. Allow to stand for at least 1 hour.
